Disc Golf Scramble Rules:

PDGA Rules will govern play unless amended by event organizers.

  1. First and foremost, the most important rule is to have fun!

  2. Competition will be a 3-person scramble. With each team designating their own Team Captain.

  3. Each team will play 18 holes with a shotgun-style start. All members of the group will hit from the tee. The Team Captain will then select the best drive. From that point, all members of the group will hit a second shot. Again, the Team Captain will select the shot providing the most advantageous lie. This procedure will continue until the disc is holed out. Only one score per hole per team is to be recorded. Scorecards must be attested and turned in at the conclusion of the round.

  4. Out-of-bounds will be considered any disc that stays lodged in a tree or other obstacle higher than 8ft. , discs that land on or across any road or discs that are thrown well out of play. Each of these situations shall result in a one stroke penalty.

  5. All putts must be holed out. No gimmies.

  6. No Mulligans are allowed.

  7. In the event of a tie in score, a scorecard playoff will begin starting on hole #1 and moving forward until one team has recorded a lower score. This team will be declared the winner. If a tie still remains after hole #3, then the respective Team Captains will compete in a sudden-death game of Rock-Paper-Scissors to determine the 1st Place Winner.

*For any questions/concerns regarding these rules, please check with event organizers.
